Hello everyone: First, please forgive my bad english. The idea for this forum is to share the diferent experiences
with this anime. When I was realy small (like 12 or 13 years old) I saw this anime for the very first time.
After that, I never saw it before. More than 6 years passed and I remember it, and whant it. Now Im 25 years old
and I didnt find any video in spanish, the languaje of this anime when I saw it first. Now I have like 13 apisodes, in
very good cuality, but all in japanese and some of them in other languajes, like italian. This anime was very important
for my childhood, I dont know why, but the style is just amazing. We will never see more animes like this one.
Well, this is my story, please share yours with all of us, and of course, if you have any material to share you can
say it here too Wink

WELLCOME EVERYONE TOO THIS FORUM ABOUT BOSCO ADVENTURE.

What is your story with Bosco Adventure? Empty great animation

Post  Guest Thu Sep 20, 2007 10:37 pm

I saw "Bosco adventure" in end of may or the start of june not sure 1991 on bulgarian national television and i like it very much from the first time i still remember it.and it shown once in week and end in december 1991 maby it was sunday 8 december 1991 when they showed the final episod man what a story the charecters the pictures are very interesting and the machines in the cartoon too.everything is mechanicle and doesn't make polution i thik.and in august this year i remember about the serial and start to searching and found it and start looking for episodes and found your site, it's great i like it very much i was 7 years old when i saw ''bosco'' for the first time and get 8 years till the end.i asked in site for subtitles to make for the animation but they said that they don't have time anyway i could watch it japanese but i would like to have english subs since i can never find it on bulgarian anymore.the only copy maby is still in the television but they'll never give it cause of the author rigths and because they're big jerks i know it for sure cause i ask for a movie once and they were answering very stupid with out any interest to help me and they were rude.anyway great cartoon keep up the working guys i appreciate it.

JAJAJAJA, yea, the machines in the story dont make polution. I never repair on that. Well, you are in the same
situation as me man, in spanish I cannot get anything and is my dream to get, at least, something. But with
the time we will get it, I realy think so. I have one episode in italian, and I understand alot, because some words are
similar to spanish, so I guess I will make subtitles in english for that episode. But my english is not so good, so
if you can I will send you the sub file and you can improve it. Anyway my friend is working on more subtitles in
english, so I think we will get more soon.
OH!!! now I remember!! My friend gave me a sub file for episode 5!!! I didnt use it because we dont have that
episode in japanese, just in croatian (or something), so I will find it and send to you.
My mail is in the page, but anyway here is it nihonjorge@hotmail.com
See ya.

Yea, well, thats the problem. Allmoust nothing about Bosco in spanish is on internet.
"La isla bonita" just means "The pretty island" or "The beautiful island".
La = The isla = island bonita = pretty, nice, beautiful.
I hope that this respond your question about that song :p
Thanks you very much for trying to find something in spanish. With the time,
something will came up. Lets hope that someone will apear with something in this

What is your story with Bosco Adventure? Empty My Bosco story ...

Post  Drazen Sun Oct 07, 2007 7:13 am

Hi, Jorge, I'm finally here ^_^ Sorry it took me so long to register here ... Anyway, here I am, and I promise to spend more time here doing some Bosco work.

My story goes like this: I'm from Bosnia and Herzegoina, Europe, which was back in '91 part of Yugoslavia, where Bosco Adventure was shown as "Plava Princeza", which literally means "Blue Princess". The broadcasting TV station showed 16 episodes (1-12, 23-26) and my cousins have recorded most of them on tapes, which I watched every day when I got a bit older (I was born in 1989....bounce ) So, it became my favorite cartoon/anime up to this day.
In 2005 I met Jorge who sent me lot of episodes and I am very grateful to him for that Smile I still remember that anticipation for 24 minutes of episode that you can't understand (they were all on Japanese ^_^). I downloaded others from e-mulem, in 2006 I gathered some episodes with serbo-croatian dubbing, and one by one - I got all of them. Now I am slowly working on subtitles, pictures and infos for this fan site.

Thank you, Jorge for this wonderful site and the enthusiasm that you have for Bosco. I know that I'd never be able to spread my love and interest for Bosco if there wasn't you.

cheers

JAJAJA, HELLOOOOW MY GOOD FRIEND DRAZEN. Is good to know that you are ok. I receave the new images, so I will put
them into the site as soon as I can. I receave too your comment about my personal website (manganozukei.com) and I was
so happy about your interest in my work that now the section in english is allmoust finished. I have to translate some more parts,
but the banners and other stuf are ready now. Soon all will be working as it haves to. Thank you for registering in this forum, it is
going very slow actualy, I was specting that more fans were coming here to talk. But lets give time to the time. Im thinking in
making a short manga about the story of bosco BEFORE the anime, that means, the begining of the first episode will be the end of this manga.
Im thinking in alot of ideas to make it well, but I need to know more details about the characters, because I canot remember all and all my espisodes are
in japanese. Anyway, this week I will see my teacher about my tesis for the university, so soon I will be a "Licenciado en Artes" (artist).
See you soon.

THAT'S A GREAT IDEA !! I'm really interested in it Wink Maybe you should try to somehow buy the original books Stories of Bosco, from Italian writer Tony Wolff (they are all based in the Bosco forest). I can help you with informations and everything, don't worry about that. And also with the ideas Wink

Oooooh, congratulations WinkWink I will now take images from 8. and 9. episode and send them to you. Just one idea - is it possible to enter a description of every picture underneath it, like a comic/manga ? 'Cause I could write info for every picture so that they make a full story. Tell me what you think!

What is your story with Bosco Adventure? Empty Bosco - the greatest anime!

Post  Cyril Mon Nov 05, 2007 3:13 am

Hi, Jorge, this is Cyril from Moscow. I saw “Bosco Adventure” just one time about 1991 and liked it greatly because the plot is not simple at all and towards the end this anime is watched like a real thriller! (Besides I like fantasy greatly.) You have had a magnificent idea to create your site! I hope you would soon upload the remaining episodes of “Bosco Adventure” to Rapidshare, especially episodes 22 – 25: the more the story draws to the end, the more interesting and breathtaking it becomes! Thank you indeed and good luck!

Second: to Cobayn: Yea I put that files into emule to share them. I have all my episodes in full resolution (640x480 I think)

If anyone knows anything about Bosco dubbed into mexican spanish, please let me know, I dream every day about getting something of that,
because I dont have anything in my language.
Anyway, thanks alot everyone for visiting the site and this forum. Keep making subjets, you dont need to log in!!! If the page ask you

yeah, I have the subtitles in serbian language for the episodes 13-18 and 20-22, so I COULD technically translate them into english but nothing before the second part of July since I am busy with college exams until then.

I won't promise anything Razz, but if everything goes well I will translate those 9 episodes by the August this year.

What is your story with Bosco Adventure? Empty Bosco movie

Post  Cyril Sat Jun 14, 2008 4:05 pm

I have been thinking: what a great movie would it be if someone undertook to make a film on "Bosco Adventure" using, of course, all modern technology, computer graphics etc. If one would make this fantasy story less child-like, more serious, ominous and thrilling, on a large scale, something like my favourite "The Lord of the Rings", such a movie would be splendid indeed! What do you think on the matter? (I am just dreaming... I know no producer will ever undertake it... )
By the way, does anyone know if the books by Tony Wolf can be downloaded in the Internet somewhere?

Cyril

What is your story with Bosco Adventure? Empty Of course is a great idea.

Post  Jorge Tue Jun 17, 2008 8:08 am

Your idea is perfect, even if I don't like the lord of the rings, jeje, but the main idea is great. Of course, an important aspect is to remove most (not all, I think) of the
innocent aspects of the original anime, but, for example, the die of Apricot can be treated more as it is: a VERY SAD PART OF THE STORY.
Anyway, even if the CGs are great, I think that this anime can be a great movie as an ANIME MOVIE, like AKIRA or something like that, made with the best cuality,
but keeping the styles and designs of the original characters.
Thats what I think about that. Of course, we are dreaming...
About the books, I think there are some pages were you can buy them, but I didn't find a place to download them. If you find them, it will be an special section for it in the website, jeje.
Good luck.

Post  Drazen Mon Jun 23, 2008 6:01 am

Yeah, I also dream about some kind of Bosco Adventure OVA - a some kind of anime movie that would cover the whole story, but focus mainly on the characters, without the Bosco forest. Even though I love the forest, it brings in the childish element of classical fairy tales. I wonder if today's kids would love Bosco though... Or would they find it boring and old ?
Personally, I would love for my children someday to watch the series Very Happy I just think they are very thoughtful and pure, and beautifully hand-drawn, with nice voice dubbing.
Do you guys think if there was a Bosco Adventure PC game would it attract a lot of buyers ? I would definitely love to play that game ^_^

A Bosco Game can be fun a great but I dont think that it will be a market for it. I dont know.
Maybe with good comercials and a great gameplay can be very popular, but Ithinks that a big company
is needed.

Anyway, we can continue dreaming...

What is your story with Bosco Adventure? Empty Re: What is your story with Bosco Adventure?

As I managed to know I saw Bosco in spring of 1991. The russian (to be correct - at that time - Soviet) television was showing last ten episodes. But I was three... Now I'm twenty. I was a child and a lot of new immpressions replaced memory of Bosco with hundreds another events.
I don't know when exactly my mind recalled Bosco. But for several years strange flashes were flying through my head sometimes. Flashes with strange images and pleasant feelings. So, year to year, these images became more clear until I remembered in 2008 about this cartoon. I remembered my scorpion pictures of three year age, great music in the opening, girl, hooded man and a moment when this girl was running from a scorpion at the end. And that's all. Noone knew what was it. Google didn't give me an answer as well as different cartoon-forums. But I was searching never the less. And suddenly a thought came to me: may be...that was anime? I start searching at the anime forums, entering something like that: scorpion, girl;hooded man, scorpion, beautiful music etc. And finally a found a post of a man like me, who also was searching for this anime. I have found spesial Bosco forums and other web-recources, put a tarif with anlimited traffic in October and I downloading that at the moment =)

Hey, your story definitely resembles mine Smile For a long time I wasn't able to find anything over the internet remotely connected with this anime, until 2004. That's when the whole nostalgia started and since then every episode has been available.

Anyway, welcome to the forum, I hope you'll find it pleasant here Wink

p.s. it would be cool if you could upload your scorpion pictures, if you still have them =)

What is your story with Bosco Adventure? Empty Melody

Post  Cyril Sat Oct 11, 2008 9:51 pm

It's interesting, Mikael, how you managed to find "Bosco" when you had the chance! Curiously, for me too one of the most easily remembered things about this anime was the opening song. All these years (1991-2007, till I found Jorge's site) I remembered the melody very well and could sing it to myself to refresh my memory - for the memory was very sweet. That is the indication how I fell for "Bosco", I think.
On another page you wrote you tried to watch "Bosco" in French - did you download it somewhere? By the way, here is the opening song in French (the words, though, are quite different from the original Japanese): http://www.coucoucircus.org/da/generique.php?id=49.

Yeah, song is cool =) But I remembered just great feeling, not song itself. And I like japaneese version of song. It's more...mature, may be and more melodious. But I don't understand, why it tells about "I lay at the sofa and the phone is quiet; I love you forever etc" Very Happy French version is more 'in topic'.
I have link on every french episode of Bosco. And I don't try, I look =) The last episode in french is now downloading. (can't help waiting) I've got them recently from... Damia. I dunno who is it. But I'm thankful to. I have studied French in the past, so I can catch some sense.
And http://www.acadlib.lv/~aivars/e/anime/abricot.htm this summary helps me. But of course I would like to understand more. For example, once was a dialog:
- Tu es belle, princesse
- Tu es jolie aussi.
As you see it's clear..ah, sorry
- You are beautiful, princess.
- You are beautiful too.
It's clear, that it is something like declaration of their feelings, but there were a lot of another words at that moment, which slipped away from understanding. That's why I want serbian version too.
Certainly I will share the links with Bosco in French, if you need them. Just show me where =) may be I should create a separate topic?
But what about them. each episode weights ~160MB. Ones with russian subtitles (japanese version) have better quality, but french are satisfactory, I have no especial complaints. And seems Frenchs cut short stories in the end like song of Furban (about his black heart and black world), discussion between bosco villagers about what is desert (Uncle Kuro, what is desert? - Ohh, desert in my heart!) etc. And the ending's music repeat opening song without words. In original there is some slow song also without connection with cartoon himself (when my eyes are covered by tears, give me strength to live) but also very beautiful, you know.
PS: Did anyone think about bosco site NOT with links on other sources, but with its own file hosting? Links have property not to work most of the times and to expire =)
